According to the latest news form now on you cannot have property deal through GPA or General Power of Attorney. Now transactions carried out since October 2011 on GPA transfers will have to be registered afresh with complete documents. Now every home buyer or any property buyer has to follow registry processes. According to this new act both sellers and buyers will have to initiate registration process afresh with complete documents.
Due to this now freehold property price may increase more and now you will have to pay more to buy a house, though RBI has decreased home loan rates.
